This elegant bronze sculpture dates from the 1930s. A lady is charming a snake with a long musical instrument similar to a 'pungi'. She is kneeling on a rug and the snake is looking at her playing. The bronze retains the original pea green paint finish, with some wear and it sits on a two-tiered marble base. Unsigned.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
